Similar to other open spaces, like Pecha Kucha, BarCampOrlando is a place where anyone can present, arrive early, write your presentation and name on a post it note and add it to the calendar on the wall next to the time slot you want to present. 

With my fellow blogger, William Jackson, I attended presentations on Web Tech programming “Eye Opener”, podcasting “informative, the importance of focusing on a niche market, monetizing”, social media “Informative, personal branding and development” and a “freedom of speak” presentation criticizing the format of the BarCamp, the frequency, topics etc. “I think the open space concept needs to approach different niches by topic, gender and race to expand the conversation beyond its traditional community and tech topics.”
